Literature Review
I do not understand the concept of the Lit Review. I feel like I should just begin to write the rough drafts of my paper. I hope that writing this will somehow improve the quality of my research paper. With the last couple of weeks being so stressful and full of work, my time is now more valuable than ever. I do not like to waste time or do things that may not be as important as others. I hope that this Literature Review will prove me wrong after I have completed it.
Hemp Vs. America's Obesity Issue
America has been the fattest country in the world for a while now and there has not been a lot of progress to solve this issue. Many are not aware that Hemp foods are great sources of natural fatty acids which promote the body's health. Breads, cereals, oils, and many other food products can be made from Hemp. Also hemp product's are packed with vitamin E, protein, GLA, and Omega-3. If Americans took the time to realize that the Hemp plant has so much to add to culture, then maybe our issue with obesity would be solved.

I was not really able to find any sings about the production of industrial hemp, but these are the songs I researched to, and I also write to these songs very often.

Hemp Proposal

Proposal
The United States of America has an obvious problem with our economy and we need to accept to new ideas on how to improve this situation. I believe that if America began to produce industrial hemp, again, then it could add a lot of positives to help mend our broken economy. When i say “again” I mean that the United States used to produce industrial hemp, but that was before 1937 when Marijuana was outlawed also with hemp. The problem that people have with Hemp production is the fact that Hemp comes from the same plant as Marijuana (Cannabis). Though many are unknowing that the THC levels in Hemp are far to low to get any sort of high from smoking. The leading producer of Hemp in the world is China, and with all the competition and possible money to be made off this crop I do not see why the American government has not jumped on this opportunity.
The first postive aspect that Hemp would bring would be the fact that hemp nutritional products may help the American obesity issue be greatly reduced. Hemp seeds contain amino acids and fatty acids that increase health in the human body. This could greatly help our overall state of health in America. Also foods like waffles, cereal and even Hemp milk can be made.
My second reason would be the fact that hemp produces fibres which grow very quickly and they are very strong. It produces 10% more fibres than cotton. With things such as Hemp clothing it would increase the durability of clothes making the American people gain their sense of getting what they pay for.
My third and my most important reason would be the fact that Hemp is possibly the most availible biofuel in the world. This is obviously important because of the recent great increase of gas prices. Hemp biofuel is clean burning and non-toxic, so it would not do any hurt to our already damaged atmosphere.
I’m sure that if many Americans knew how valuable this crop is, they’re would be now question to whether or not this should be able to be grown in our country. The only thing that is in the way of Hemp legalization is the pure ignorance of the American people. This is an obvious issue that needs to be brought to the citizens attention.
